Meet Zumba® Founder at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Inspire Sports Management and Mirage Events, is inviting 20 members of the public to an exclusive beachside Zumba® class, led by founder Beto Perez, followed by a meet-and-greet on Wednesday, 4 November 2015.

To attend, guests simply need to visit stregisabudhabi.com and answer a multi-choice question: ‘How many people participate weekly in Zumba® classes globally?’ (the answer is an impressive 15 million).

The 10 chosen attendees for The St. Regis Abu Dhabi private beachside class and meet-and-greet will be selected randomly and will each be able to bring a friend. Each attendee will also receive tickets to the Zumba® Masterclass, taking place on Friday 6 November, at Du Forum, in which up to 1,000 Zumba® fans are expected to participate in what is anticipated to be the Middle East’s largest ever Zumba® class.

Beto Perez is a Colombian-born dancer and choreographer who founded Zumba® in 2001 when his innovative style caught the attention of two entrepreneurs: Alberto Perlman and Alberto Aghion. Today Zumba® is the largest dance-fitness programme in the world, practiced in 200,000 locations across more than 180 countries.
