Millennium Hotel and Convention Centre Kuwait, a five-star hotel located at the heart of Kuwait city, seizes 6 medals in HORECA competitions held in Kuwait. In the 9th edition of HORECA Kuwait this year, new concepts such as Bed Making and HORECA Hospitality Forum were introduced, and the event has witnessed wide participation from 90 exhibitors, 300 chefs, 5 kitchens and 7000 visitors.
The talented chefs and culinary artists from the hotel demonstrated unprecedented creativity and extensive experience in various competitions while preparing a range of appetizers, hot and cold beverages and desserts whereas the housekeeping teams participated in bed-making competitions. With such dedication and hard efforts, the hotel was capable of scooping 6 medals; one Gold medal was won by the culinary artist Wasul in Chocolate Craving, one Silver medal was won by Chef Danushka in Cold Canapes and one Bronze Medal in live cooking was won by Chef Demerdash whereas 3 Bronze medal were won by Udaya Priyankara, Dewshingbai Gamit and Dilan Nuban in bed making.
