Millennium Hotels and Resorts Middle East and Africa today affirmed its position as one of the fastest growing hotel management companies in the region by signing partnerships with leading names in the industry including Oman Tourism and Oman Convention Bureau and Fly Dubai.

The strategic partnership with Oman Tourism and Oman Convention Bureau will focus on promoting Oman as a key leisure and MICE destination. Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA will work closely with the Oman authorities to introduce combined sales and marketing strategies directed to key MICE agents, holiday makers and potential clients. Both parties will host mega key familiarization trips to the destination to promote Oman as an ideal destination for the MICE tourism sector.

Millennium Hotels and Resorts Middle East and Africa is enhancing its relationship with low cost airline Fly Dubai by entering into a partnership.

Kevork Deldelian, chief operating officer of Millennium Hotels and Resorts, commented: “Our partnership with Oman Tourism and Oman Convention Bureau is very timely. With the new infrastructural and hospitality developments in the country, it will soon become a preferred hub for MICE activities. We are therefore delighted to align with Oman Tourism and Oman Convention Bureau in developing hospitality and adventure options geared toward enhancing the MICE sector in Oman.”

At the same time, the Group highlighted its partnership with Chelsea Football Club, one of Europe’s most popular football club, in this year’s Arabian Travel Market (ATM).

Visitors and exhibitors to the show were treated to an exclusive “Meet and Greet” with Chelsea’s Tore Andre Flo, currently a member of the football team’s coaching staff. The retired Norwegian football striker who represented his country in the 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000 made a guest appearance at Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ ATM stand to interact with football fanatics.

Flo’s visit to the UAE is part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ exclusive three-year global hotel partnership with Chelsea Football Club. The partnership allows members of My Millennium rewards program and all corporate customers to have access to once-in-a-lifetime football experiences.

With over 130 hotels operating globally, Millennium Hotels and Resorts will offer room packages linked to a range of football experiences including entry to Chelsea’s training facilities at Cobham, meet and greet experiences with players, hospitality box access at Stamford Bridge and VIP travel packages for European away matches. The Group also hosts competitions offering participants the chance to win amazing prizes such as tickets to Chelsea matches including a stay at one of Millennium Hotels and Resort’s London based hotels.

“As the first truly international partnership between a global hotelier and one of the world’s most popular football clubs, we are offering guests bespoke experiences throughout the brands in our portfolio. At Millennium Hotels and Resorts, we are committed to a customer-centric philosophy and this partnership with Chelsea Football Club will provide a host of privileges that are valuable to our loyal customers,” added Deldelian.

The Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA stand is located at Sheikh Saeed Hall Hotel Stand - HC 0550 and at the Dubai Tourism (DTCM) stand – ME 3110 during the 4-day ATM exhibition that will run until 1st May 2019.
