National Day of the Russian Federation in Dubai

Consulate General of the Russian Federation in UAE held an official reception to celebrate the National Day of the Russian Federation or as it is called the Day of Russia.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials, heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in UAE, well-known businessmen and members of the Russian-speaking community and reporters from the leading UAE media. His Excellency Dr. Rashid Ahmed Bin Fahad, the UAE minister of Environment and Water and His Excellency Imad Adnan Al Madani, Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Dubai were the honoured guests at the reception.

His Excellency Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai Mr. Gocha Buachidze welcomed the guests on the festive occasion of National Day of the Russian Federation. Consul General Buachidze emphasized the successful cooperation between Russia and UAE. Overall, the Russian-Emirati political relations are characterized now by similar positions on most important aspects of the international and regional matters including strategic stability, international peace and safety.

Mr. Buachidze emphasized that there is a big potential for mutually beneficial cooperation in the various economic sectors including tourism, culture, science and education.

The grand reception was held at Dubai Armani Hotel, located in Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower.
