Three sons of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, were married on Wednesday evening.
According to Dubai Media Office, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, 36, was married to Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum in a religious ceremony. The government media office confirmed the marriage of the three brothers, who share the same mother, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma, on Thursday.
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, 35, married Sheikha Mariam bint Butti Al Maktoum and Sheikh Ahmad bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, 32, married Sheikha Midya bint Dalmouj Al Maktoum.
The three couples had their Islamic wedding on Wednesday, when they signed an official marriage contract, but the wedding ceremony is expected to follow. It is not yet clear if it will be a public or private celebration.
Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, offered her congratulations to the new couples, posting a picture of her brothers and wishing them happiness. "The nation is rejoiced," she said in the caption.
