The new projects will be developed by the Wasl Asset Management Group across Dubai.
UAE VP and PM and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched a series of new projects in Dubai, which will feature elements such as a snow fountain and vertical gardens.
Sheikh Mohammed inaugurated Creek Heights Residences, a two-tower development featuring a Hyatt Regency Hotel and luxury furnished apartments, developed by Wasl Asset Management Group on Wednesday, official news agency WAM reported.
The new luxury project, located on Dubai Creek, is Wasl’s first in Dubai’s freehold real estate sector. The 43-floor residential tower has 405 luxury units, while the five-star Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights hotel has 443 rooms and a business centre.
Sheikh Mohammed later launched other three projects to be undertaken by the group including Zabeel Park 1, Al Wasl Tower and Dubai Gate, the report said.
Zabeel Park 1 will be a mixed-use complex in Zabeel park comprising hotels, residential and office buildings, cafes and restaurants, recreational facilities and retail shops.
It will showcase the first year-round snow fountain and a water fountain, and will also be fitted with the latest lighting technologies.
The main tower in the project will take the shape of number 1, “reflecting Dubai’s quest to be number one,” WAM said.
Al Wasl Tower, located on Sheikh Zayed Road, will look like an integrated vertical city and feature the world’s tallest ceramic façade, vertical gardens and a light museum – the first of its kind in the region – to showcase history, art and technologies.
The third project, Dubai Gate, aims to emerge as a “city of innovation and creativity” and will be an experiment for sustainable living and working in a smart city.
Located near the Dubai Metro station in Jebel Ali, it will offer a “lavish, modern lifestyle” to its residents, the report said.
All the projects are anticipated to boost the national economy and help develop and stimulate the tourism sector in the UAE, WAM added.
