Emirates Team New Zealand takes to the water in Portsmouth

Emirates Team New Zealand took to the water this weekend for the very first event in the 35th America's Cup, the Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series Portsmouth. Looking to build on an encouraging performance last year, Emirates Team New Zealand will be looking to lift the Auld Mug and confirm its status as favourite for the race.

The Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series sees world-class sailors setting out from Portsmouth, home of the Emirates Spinnaker Tower, which now sports new and distinct branding following a £3.5 million sponsorship investment by Emirates. As a global connector of people and places, Emirates is proud to be associated with this iconic British landmark. 

Emirates has been the naming rights sponsor of Team New Zealand since 2004.
