Sheraton resort opens in Sharjah

The 349-room resort further expands the Starwood’s portfolio in the UAE to 25 hotels

Starwood Hotels & Resorts on Wednesday announced the opening of the Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa, its first hotel in Sharjah. The 349-room resort further expands the company’s portfolio in the UAE to 25 hotels.

“The entry of Sheraton in Sharjah marks a milestone for the company and also reinforces the Sheraton brand’s goal to open 150 new hotels by 2020,” said Guido de Wilde, Senior Vice President, Regional Director, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Middle East.

The resort features conference facilities, including two ballrooms and nine meeting rooms, and a range of leisure facilities.
