His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, visited the Dubai International Motor Show 2015, the largest international automotive event across the Middle East and North Africa.
Accompanied by Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Mohammed toured the pavilions, which feature the latest inventions of the international motor companies in terms of design and technology. He visited the pavilion of Gargash Enterprises, authorised distributor of Mercedes-Benz, where he was briefed about modern and diverse luxurious models of Mercedes-Benz.
Shaikh Mohammed also toured the pavilions of American Ford and British Land Rover cars, where he was briefed by Dr Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, Board Member of Al Tayer Management Group about the new US Lincoln car.
Al Tayer also explained the importance of the UAE market and the Middle East for the companies specialising in the automotive industry.
Shaikh Mohammed expressed his admiration about the show which has become an annual platform for car fans, especially youth and manufacturing companies which explore new markets.
He welcome exhibitors, visitors and tourists, expressing his satisfaction about the activities of the Dubai World Trade Centre, which cover hosting trade, industrial, tourist and sports international events.
Shaikh Mohammed was also accompanied by Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department, Saeed Humaid Al Tayer, Meydan's Chairman of the Board and CEO, Helal Saeed Al Marri, CEO of Dubai World Trade Centre and Director-General of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and others.
Over the years, the Dubai International Motor Show has brought together global manufacturers, distributors, industry specialists, key-buyers and an army of passionate motoring enthusiasts to enjoy exclusive car launches, interactive demonstrations and exciting features.
Dubai International Motor Show 2015 features dedicated pavilions for very motoring passion, from super cars and custom bikes, as well specialist zones for tuning and customisation.
