Fur Ever

Inspired by the Florentine house’s fondest piece of clothing – the duvet which was fashioned into an unbelievable number of designs, Ermanno Scervino also presented warmer ensembles and fur pieces. Such as a dress in striking combo of black and white decked with hounds-tooth motif all over and matched by a furry red number with a dash of black. Really cool we declare.

Taking a cue from the past (more precisely the Renaissance period) for the present, Alberta Ferretti unfurls a collection that is opulent and poetic. So pull on some thigh-high velvet boots and delicate chiffon dresses with exquisitely designed sleeves. Gold embroidery says goodbye to jewellery all in a play of texture and visual chemistry while fur comes in warm hues….

So he criss-crosses the comfort of sports clothes and pyjamas with a luxurious touch to endow them with a structured fit and elegance to come up with a combo we really approve – a voluminous short top with large collars accented by fur for that touch of warmth and cinched at the waist by a smart leather strap.
