ABU DHABI, 13th December, 2015 (WAM) -- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, has said that the upcoming visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to China is an embodiment of the Crown Prince's keenness to develop friendly relations of cooperation with all countries.
He added that the visit also confirms the UAE's successful foreign policy, which is based on prosperity, peace and stability in the world.
Sheikh Nahyan said, "This auspicious visit is a strong expression of the important status the UAE holds amongst countries of the world."
In a statement released on the occasion of the official visit, which starts tomorrow, December 13th, the minister said that "the UAE's prestigious status amongst nations" was first laid down by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, a status which was confirmed and sustained by the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and dedication to hard work by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and diligence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for positive communication with all countries to ensure that the UAE continues to be a nation of cooperation, wisdom, progress and development."
Sheikh Nahyan also referred to the efforts of Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and the Rulers of the Emirates.
The minister also said that this important visit comes amid changing and evolving global circumstances, and highlights the fact that both the UAE and China represent a special interest in the world, of which they have a significant impact on all changes and international developments.
He explained both countries are aware that cooperation between them in all fields "is necessary and required to shape the future of progress and peace in the world," adding that the cooperation between the two countries "is seen as a successful model of constructive international cooperation."
The minister said, "This visit confirms the strong relations between the peoples of the two countries based on the cultural exchange."
He added, "I am fully convinced that this visit will be a major factor in boosting the intellectual, cultural and humanitarian relations with China. These relations, which are now witnessing a steady growth, are based on cooperation, coexistence and continuous communication, and have also become example of successful popular diplomacy around the world."
