Dubai Marina announces exciting new Music Festival

Two weeks of live performances by local and regional artists to celebrate the festive season

Dubai Marina, the destination for stylish and sophisticated living, will be celebrating the festive season with a fortnight of evening music performances, from December 17 to 31, 2015.

As the sun sets, the Marina’s promenade and walkway will resonate with the sounds of an eclectic mix of global musical talent, showcased across three stages:

THE STAGE

Enjoy live music from professional musicians; from the smooth swing of the Rat Pack Singer, to the poetical lyricism of the Floetics and the captivating syncopations of the Cumbia band from Columbia, there’s something to suit every musical taste.

THE CHILLOUT STAGE

Relax, unwind and get funky with live sets by some of Dubai’s most popular resident DJs including DJ Dubijad, DJ Cheriana and DJ Tommygun.

THE STAGE IS YOURS!

This Open Mic Jam session will be hosted every night by one of Dubai’s premier music curators, Abbo Abbondandolo, who’s responsible for the success of the widely popular open mic nights at Pizza Express and Tribeca. Aspiring musicians can register for their chance to perform.

Weekend performances will be hosted by top radio DJs, food stalls and mocktail lounges, along with dedicated chill-out areas, will be available to the public to add to the festival atmosphere.

Dubai Marina by Emaar Properties is one of the first and largest waterfront developments of its kind in the region. Dubai Marina has a large canal spanning 3.5 km, offering access to the sea from both ends and providing Riviera-style living in a modern aesthetic setting.
