The region’s first multicultural festival park Global Village unfurls a unique fusion of exciting shopping options, an amazing range of delicious street food experiences as well unique entertainment events offering an enriching cultural experience. In short, it’s a happiness destination by itself aimed at every member of the family and every strata of society.
The 21st edition features over 75 countries across 30 pavillions where guests can buy authentic souvenirs from across the world. It has a new Algerian pavilion, the Far East pavilion will represent the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and Indonesia as well as the East Europe pavilion featuring Serbia, Romania and the Ukraine, while the Jordan pavilion returns from the 19th edition of the Global Village.
Visitors can also go on a lip-smacking gastronomic discovery at over 150 restaurants, cafes and kiosks, embracing street food experiences as well as dine-in options such as the South African restaurant Galito’s, Reem Al Bawadi and Istanbul Flower Restaurant.
The 21st season of Global Village has an admirable lineup of entertainment events ranging from concerts, dance shows and international award-winning shows that will be performed by over 50 international performers. The attraction will be hosting concerts every Friday at 9pm with no additional cost apart from the entry ticket priced at AED 15, featuring international stars from the middle East, Asia and across the globe such as Sunidhi Chauhan, Saad Lmjarrad, Omar Abdul Lat and Mohammed Assaf.
Don’t miss out Fantasy Island which returns this season with over 50 different rides and skill games for every member of the family. What’s more, younger children have some exciting thrill rides to look forward to this year and there will also be a funfair where the Happy Hours promotion every day offers 50% discount on the price of all rides from 4pm to 6pm.
This edition also sees Global Village team up with international and local travel and tourism agencies to promote tourism. It has launched a digital platform where travel agencies can purchase special packs offering exclusive deals for travellers at cheaper rates. So there’s really no excuse for us to not visit this unique attraction offering an unforgettable global experience all under one venue.
Located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road Exit 37, Global Village is open 4pm to 12am, from Saturdays to Wednesdays and 4pm to 1am on Thursdays and Fridays as well public holidays while Mondays are exclusively dedicated for women and families.
