Gulf News -- His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at 5th November received Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus who is currently on a visit to the country.
Shaikh Mohammad welcomed Lukashenko and discussed ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and ways to bolster them in various areas to serve the mutual interests of the two nations and peoples.
The two leaders explored avenues of cooperation in the fields of economy, investment and trade and opportunities to drive them towards broader horizons.
Shaikh Mohammad and Lukashenko discussed a number of issues of common interest, and also exchanged views about the latest regional and international development
Shaikh Mohammad underlined the UAE’s keenness under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to continue to strengthen its relations with friendly countries, extend bridges of communication and build partnerships that serve common interests.
He lauded the progress that UAE- Belarus relations have witnessed recently in view of the desire of both leaderships to drive them forward and strengthen ties of friendship.
Lukashenko expressed his happiness at visiting the UAE and meeting with Shaikh Mohammad. He commended the growing relations with the UAE in favour of the two countries and peoples. The Belarusian President voiced his eagerness to have closer economic cooperation and investment with the UAE and benefit from is impressive development and urban experience.
