Hypebae.com -- Back in March, Nike was applauded by many when it announced it’s first-ever hijab created for Muslim women. After months in the making, the Pro Hijab is now finally available for purchase.

Designed especially for female athletes, the Pro Hijab comes in two sizes as well as two colorways, “Black” and “Obsidian.” And just like its stellar lineup of runners, the new product sees an extremely breathable and flexible fabric that suits a wide range of face shapes, allowing the athletes to perform their best in every game.

In celebration of the launch, Swoosh has unveiled a brand new campaign featuring outstanding sportswomen including boxer Zeina Nassar, Olympian Ibtihaj Mohammad, Emirati figure skater Zahra Lari and weightlifter Amna Al Haddad. In a official press statement the sportswear giant writes of its inclusive move:

“By providing Muslim athletes with the most groundbreaking products, like the Nike Pro Hijab, Nike aims to serve today’s pioneers as well as inspire even more women and girls in the region who still face barriers and limited access to sport: Fewer than one in seven girls participate in locally recommended sport activities for 60 minutes or more.”
