The National -- The official opening of Zaha Hadid’s The Opus building will take place on January 15.
The Opus is the architect's only work in Dubai and is located in Business Bay.
It consists of two glass towers linked by a ground-floor podium and a steel and glass bridge towards the top.
The building, developed by Omniyat Properties, features 56,000 square feet of office space, a club, restaurants and ME Dubai, a boutique hotel.
Hadid died in 2016. The renowned Iraqi-born architect was the first woman to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize and her major projects included the Sheikh Zayed Bridge in Abu Dhabi, the London Olympics Aquatics Centre and Guangzhou Opera House.
