On Friday 16 February, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa celebrates ‘The Year of the Dog’ in style, where all guests will enjoy two sets of traditional live performances to mark this special day. An authentic Chinese lion dance performance will commence at 6:30pm at the hotel lobby, where the second live performance set will start at 9:00pm at the hotel garden opposite to family friendly restaurant ‘Al Forsan’ that offers a lavish Chinese New Year dinner buffet on the day.

Created by the professional culinary team of Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, this exquisite dinner buffet celebrates the New Year with authentic dishes from the different parts of China. UAE foodies are welcome to choose their favourite out of a ten main course selection, including stir fried black beans beef, roast duck and vegetarian delicacies and out of four live-cooking stations featuring Chinese-Wok, dim-sum station and the famous Schezuan baby octopus.

A special corner at the buffet offers a true taste of seafood at its finest with an extensive selection featuring king prawns, smoked fish with salmon together with traditional gravadlax, shrimps and lobster.
