Breguet’s Reine de Naples collection has a historic relevance as its oval shape is inspired by a watch commissioned by Napolean’s sister, Caroline Murat, the Queen of Naples to the founder of the brand, Abraham-Louis Breguet. German watchmaker Glashutte Original launched a new in-house automatic movement Calibre 36 in the new 40mm round stainless steel or 18k rose gold Glashutte Original Senator Excellence model. It is the first movement outfitted with a silicon balance spring which renders it immune to changes in temperature and magnetic fields. It also boasts another first for the brand: a power reserve of up to 100 hours. Its black dial has finely curved Arabic numerals coated with Super-LumiNova for legibility in low light.

Inspired by the famous Manhattan bridge built during the steel era Harry Winston’s Project Z10 boasts the typical features of the Project Z series such as the Zalium ™ case, a Harry Winston exclusive alloy, the bi-material strap combining blue alligator on black rubber and the movement displayed by the openworked dial in blue anodized aluminium. It is powered by the HW3305 beating at 28,800 vph and offering a power reserve of 65 hours.
