The fiercely anticipated opening of Totora Cebicheria Peruana, the latest addi6on to DIFC’s dining and nightlife scene, hit Dubai on Wednesday, September 21st 2016. With a four course seated menu, guests invited were an exclusive selec6on of VIP’s and Press.
Attended by regional socialites and VIPs, such as Dina Azar, former Miss. Lebanon and social media influencer, Lama Jamal, guests dined on a delicious selec6on of Totora’s signature cebiches and toasted to the restaurant’s success with delicious Pisco inspired cocktails.
With Resident DJ Nua crea6ng the party vibe in the Lima Lounge at Totora alongside a talented saxophonist, the night was abundant with fun and laughter. Guests were treated to an eclec6c Peruvian menu, led by head Chef Alex Barrera, who’s worked in kitchens from the US, Costa Rica , Peru and now Dubai.
Alongside an incredible menu, another of Totora’s key aspects include the incredible interior, curated by award winning Interior Designer and Architect, Fadi Sarieddine.
A truly authentic Peruvian experience, Totora Cebicheria Peruana has joined the glamorous exis6ng porfolio of dining and nightlife outlets at the DIFC Gate Village.
With its name and inspira6on derived from a versa6le yet robust indigenous plant, the Totora concept was born out of a desire to bring to Dubai the genuine & authen6c flavours of Peru. The 185-seat, 6,000 square foot restaurant-meet-barand-lounge is open seven days a week, serving food between noon to midnight, Saturday through Wednesday and un6l 1am in the restaurant on weekends, with the bar open from noon to 1am from Saturdays through Wednesdays and un6l 2am on weekends.
