Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman, Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, and Fazilov Gayrat, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Uzbekistan, have discussed ways of strengthening cooperation and developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al Jarman highlighted the UAE's keenness to develop relations of cooperation with Uzbekistan.
Gayrat Fazilov hailed the relations between the two countries, and said he was looking forward to build a lasting partnership with the UAE to contribute to expanding the horizons of cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
During the meeting the sides reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest, discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Parties positively assessed the established level of cooperation, political dialogue and stable development of economic and trade relations, and confirmed mutual intention to continue to promote the deepening and dynamic development of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Matrooshi, Director of the Department of West Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
