President of Russia Vladimir Putin met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

President of Russia, Vladimir Putin met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his visit to Moscow. Welcoming him warmly, he said that that he was happy to note that relations between Russia and United Arab Emirates are developing successfully. The two nations have good political relations and their economic cooperation is growing. In the past four years, trade between the countries has grown manifold. Their investment cooperation is also expanding. Russia has great trust in the UAE’s investment funds and corresponding institutions in the Russian Federation have established ties with them.

He added that he was very glad to meet with His Highness to exchange views on the situation in the region which remains complicated both in terms of Israeli-Palestinian relations and in other areas. Russia, he said was concerned about the developments in Iraq and Libya. In other words, the two nations have many matters to talk about and that His Highness’s opinion on this situation is very important to Russia.

HH the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked President Putin and said he was very happy to meet with him in the wonderful city of Moscow. He said that Russia plays a very serious role in Middle Eastern affairs and that there is no doubt that the two nations enjoy a privileged relationship. The UAE and Russia have great goals to achieve in their cooperation and if it succeeds, it will develop even more actively.
