Weekend Max Mara is pleased to announce the opening of its latest boutique at Dubai’s new luxury shopping destination, Dubai Hills Mall.
The modern 150 square metre store embodies the essence of Weekend Max Mara’s Italian heritage and contemporary spirit. Evoking the brand values of traditional craftsmanship and timeless construction.
The architecture and furnishings of the store are inspired by brand tradition with clean, simple and uncluttered designs. The selected colours are neutral in delicate shades, offering a soft setting for the collection to take center stage.
The floor designs highlight the different areas of the shop with a specific characterisation and creating a natural pathway. The three contrasting designs include floral pressed tiles produced with a craftsman’s technique invented in Europe at the end of the 19th century; grey ceramic strip tiles inspired by the timeless Italian tradition of Cotto and luxury European walnut wooden strips.
The wall types also alternate according to the shop areas. Eclectic designs include blue painted paneling bordered by linear frames, exposed and bleached bricks, wallpaper with black and white landscapes and linen fabric panels.
Furnishings and accessories are reminiscent of historical Italian and European designs. Unique modern antiques are re-interpreted or in their original versions. All are arranged to suit a contemporary, eclectic taste that mixes different styles, origins and periods.
Customers can currently shop the new Autumn/Winter 2022 collection, inspired by nature and architecture, which includes a mix of homespun materials and earthy hues. Shapes, volumes and textures result in pieces that are open to individual interpretation and effortless styling. Key pieces include the signature trench coats and parka, utility pieces, down jackets, and heritage outerwear with fringing details.
In addition, Weekend Max Mara also introduces the new signature Autumn/Winter collection, Habito in collaboration with celebrated architect and designer Patricia Urquiola. The collection is a hybrid reinterpretation of signature iconic Weekend Max Mara silhouettes, resulting in savvy and refined combinations of eye-catching mismatches of patterns, colours and textures that feature on silhouettes inspired by traditional Spanish garments.
