The Russian Business Council opens a New Season in the UAE

The Russian Business Council (RBC) in Dubai and the Northern Emirates held a strategic business event on October 15, 2025, marking the opening of a new business season.

The event brought together more than 150 distinguished guests, including government representatives, diplomats, and owners of leading Russian and Emirati companies. This high-level attendance highlighted the growing influence of the RBC as a key platform for business engagement and economic integration.

The event was attended by Maksim Viktorovich Vladimirov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, who joined as Guest of Honour and подчеркнул the importance of sustainable development in bilateral relations between the two countries.

“Russian–Emirati relations demonstrate steady growth based on mutual respect and cooperation. Initiatives such as those of the Russian Business Council play a crucial role in strengthening the position of Russian entrepreneurs in the region and in unlocking new opportunities for joint development,” he noted.

A key highlight of the evening was the announcement by Tatiana Al Aroud of the relaunch of Rossiyanka, the Association of Russian Women in the UAE.

“Women’s entrepreneurship is a vital part of the UAE’s modern business landscape. The Rossiyanka Association aims to help women find reliable business partners, gain new knowledge, exchange experience, and confidently develop their own projects,” she said.

Tatiana Al Aroud also pointed to the growing activity of the Russian-speaking women’s community in the country:

“Today we see Russian-speaking women in the Emirates founding companies, launching educational initiatives, creating cultural projects, and becoming active contributors to the country’s development. Cooperation with the Russian Business Council strengthens our voice and expands our opportunities.”

Following the event, we met with Saleh Al Aroud, Chairman of the Russian Business Council in the UAE, who shared his perspective on bilateral cooperation and outlined the Council’s future priorities.
