The 21st edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival will be back from January 1 to February 1 with a new look that will highlight DSF as the world's best shopping experience.
Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), the upcoming edition of DSF will be celebrated under the tagline 'Unwrap The Exceptional'.
With the retail sector continuing to be DSF's main pillar, the latest edition will see the 32 days of the festival being divided into four weekly segments, each covering a specific economic sector - Beauty Week , Gold and Jewellery Week, Apparel & Fashion Week and Perfume Week - to help showcase DSF as a global tourism attraction that offers enriching shopping experiences for visitors from around the world.
During DSF 2016, the shopping experience will be further enhanced through retail concepts such as The Market Outside the Box, featuring a creative retail environment, Global Village, where every country has its own themed stand selling its traditional products, the Carpet & Art Oasis, a huge exhibition showcasing exquisite, rare and priceless handmade floor coverings from the world's leading carpet-producing countries, and celebrity engagements featuring internationally renowned personalities.
These will be accompanied by round-the-clock, month-long activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy which will include international concerts, cultural, fun and fashion events as well as roaming artistes.
Besides promotional offers and amazing shopping deals, daily mega prizes will also be given away during DSF in the form of luxury cars, gold and cash including the daily Infiniti Mega Raffle, offering Dh500,000 in prizes every day including an Infiniti QX70 and Dh200,000 in cash.
