Get ready for an unforgettable culinary journey through a celebration of food at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. The week-long food festival, will feature renowned celebrity chefs, showcasing their exceptional talents, where you can sample international flavours from Italy to Thailand and attend a host of special culinary events, including cooking demonstrations and master classes and a wide variety of fare under one roof.

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort has attracted international celebrity chefs to Dubai with a programme of special culinary events including Australian celebrity Chef Tom Walton, Xavier Caille the world’s opening oyster champion, Prin Pulsok (Thai cuisine), and Claudio Sadler, a two Michelin starred chef (Italian cuisine).

Master Pastry Skills

Score a seat in the renowned pastry chef Marike van Beurden master class. Marike will share her pastry skills, tips and secrets while showing guests how to create her personal recipes, October 24 from 12pm to 1.30pm in The Lotus Lounge. Dh150, includes refreshments.

Marike will also host an afternoon tea where guests can sample three tiers of her signature desserts from red velvet domes with cream cheese frosting, freeze-dried raspberries and crystallized rose fragments, to pistachio squares, blueberry and violet éclairs and a basket of edible flowers. Speedy oyster shucking

Don’t miss this feast for the eyes: world oyster shucking champion Xavier Caille can shuck 30 oysters in two minutes and 40 seconds. You have to see it to believe it. He’ll demonstrate his speed, shucking skills while you sample a selection of oysters from around the world. October 24, 25, 28 and 29 from 12.30pm-3pm and 7pm-10pm at The Beach House and October 27 from 7pm-10pm at Bushman’s Restaurant & Bar. A la carte pricing.

Eastern Flavours

For a modern twist on Thai cuisine, choose to spend a relaxed evening with the acclaimed Chef Prim from Bangkok, as he introduces you to authentic Thai flavours full of aroma and spice. Refresh with a complimentary welcome drink and savour signature sharing dishes and mouthwatering mains with loved ones. October 24& 25 from 7pm-11pm at Mekong. Dhs, 275 per person, with welcome drink.

Fork & Cork Brunch

On October 28th, The Fork & Cork Brunch will feature Chef Xavier Caille, Chef Tom Walton and Mixologist Roberto Cuda, where diners can take the chance to meet the celebrity guest chefs and see the professionals live in action at interactive cooking stations, from flavorsome bush tucker and Italian dishes full of passion, to freshly shucked oysters and delectable sweets and desserts. From 1pm-4pm, starting from AED 345.

An Italian Table

Embrace the passion of Italian fusion cuisine at Chef Claudio Sadler’s beachside five-course dinner at The Beach House. Italian heritage mixed with a love of Eastern culture makes for an exciting set menu of interesting culinary creations. October 26, from 7.30pm-11pm. Dhs, 475 with welcome drink.

Diners can enjoy an Italian master cooking class with Chef Claudio at The Beach House on October 27th and delight friends and loved ones at home with your new skills. From 7.30pm -11pm, Dhs, 475 including a welcome drink.

Beef Tasting

Explore an assortment of savoury beef specialities cooked to perfection Aussie style by Chef Tom Walton. Take in the views of the Dubai skyline out on the billabong-inspired terrace while sipping on a cool, refreshing welcome drink. Tom will be serving up some of best flavours, with an indigenous Australian twist. October 27, from 7.30pm-11pm. Dhs, 275 per person

Diners can also enjoy the dishes from Chef Tom Walton at the Saturday Lazy Lunch on October 29, from1pm – 4pm at Bushman’s Restaurant & Bar. Starting from Dhs, 250 per person.
