The Arab Fashion Council Announce Arab Fashion Week

H.E Cavaliere Mario Boselli, the Honorary President of both the Arab Fashion Council (AFC) and National Chamber of Italian Fashion (Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana) and AFC’s Founder Jacob Abrian announce Arab Fashion Week to be held in Dubai, UAE from 31st October to 2nd November 2015.


The AFC is the largest non-profit fashion association, representing the 22 Arab countries announces a press conference for the first official fashion week in the region, Arab Fashion Week (AFW) - a three-day event to take place at The Park Hayat. The three day event Arab Fashion Week will present prominent International and Arab designers promoting Spring Summer 2016 collections. Presented by title sponsor Huawei Arabia the press conference is to be held at The Royal Mirage on the 14th October 2015, following the official announcement at Milan Fashion Week on 23rd September 2015.


The conference panel will host Jacob Abrian - Founder of the Arab Fashion Council, Dr. Mary Dell’Edera - Chief Brand Officer at the Arab Fashion Council, Dr. Raffaella Carnevale – Chief PR Officer at the Arab Fashion Council. Mrs. Othaija Al Ameri - Chief Protocol Officer at the Arab Fashion Council and Mr. Sandeep Saihgal - Vice President of Huawei Arabia and AFW’s Title Sponsor.


“The Arab Fashion Council has a very significant role in positioning the Arab world on the International fashion map by building a concrete bridge between the East and West,” stated Founder, Jacob Abrian. Marking one hundred and one years since the launch of New York Fashion Week – Arab Fashion Week has been officially added to the International Fashion Week calendar among fashion capitals New York, London, Milan and Paris.


In partnership with Dubai Fashion TV of the International Fashion Network, Arab Fashion Week will host the exclusive Royal Arts installation “Royal Signature – Where Art Meets Fashion” in collaboration with Art UAE Foundation and sponsored by The National Council of Tourism and Antiquities of the United Arab Emirates.
