Free parking and adjusted public transport timings for UAE National Day in Dubai

Parking will be free from Thursday, November 30, to Sunday, December 3, across Dubai to mark the Prophet’s Birthday, Commemoration Day and the UAE’s 46th National Day.

All paid parking zones will be free, except at multi-level parking lots, until Monday, December 4, when fees will be reactivated.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority made the announcement on Monday along with adjusted timings for all public transport.

Khaleej Times -- The Pakistani man accused of strangling an 11-year-old boy to death after raping him at the rooftop of their Abu Dhabi building has been sentenced to death.

The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court of First Instance on Monday morning handed out the execution sentence to the 33-year-old man after he was found guilty of murder, rape and a number of other charges.

Khaleej Times -- A 5-day-old baby girl was found abandoned at a mosque in Sharjah's Al Qasimiya area.
