Fujairah Ruler's Court mourns death of Sheikh Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi

(WAM) – Fujairah Ruler's Court has mourned death of Sheikh Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Deputy Ruler of Fujairah, who passed away on Wednesday.

The funeral prayer will be held on Thursday after Dhuhr prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah.

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah will accept condolences at Al Remailah Palace from Thursday.

Mandatory health insurance for employees has been phased in over three years by the Dubai Health Authority. The Dubai Health Insurance Law that came into effect in January 2014 introduced a legal liability for every sponsor to provide an essential benefits package, which costs between Dh550 and Dh750 a year, The National reposted.

The federal Ministry of Energy announced today that consumers will pay Dh1.95 a litre for Super 98, down 3.9 per cent from March; Special 95 will cost Dh1.84, down 4.2 per cent; and E Plus will cost Dh1.77, down 4.3 per cent. In March, motorists paid Dh2.03 a litre for Super 98, Dh1.92 for Special 95 and Dh1.85 for E Plus. Diesel cost Dh2.02.

(WAM) -- Passenger traffic at Dubai International, DXB, continued to grow steadily in February rising 8.8 percent to 6,948,157, according to the monthly traffic report issued by Dubai Airports today.

The operator said this brings the total year to date passenger traffic at the airport to 14,985,165, a robust growth of 9.3 percent compared to 13,711,181 recorded during the first two months of 2016.
