Dubai couple express their gratitude to government for getting them home

A Dubai-based couple who were away from their two-year-old baby after being stuck in South Africa over a month, flew back to Dubai on Wednesday night thanks to the special arrangements made by the UAE Government.

Al-Futtaim Malls To Open Doors in Accordance with Guidelines and Protocols issued by Dubai Economic Department

Abu Dhabi and Dubai prepare to reopen shopping malls and public transport

The United Arab Emirates decided on Thursday to reopen malls, cafes and restaurants and ease lockdown restrictions imposed last month to prevent the spread of coronavirus on the occasion of Ramadan.

BIE's executive committee agrees to postpone Expo 2020 Dubai

The Executive Committee of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) has agreed to propose the postponement of Expo 2020 Dubai to the proposed dates of October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

However, changing the dates of an Expo requires the support of a two-thirds majority of Member States of the BIE under Article 28 of the Paris Convention of 1928. Therefore, the General Assembly will now be called upon to vote on the Executive Committee's recommendation.
