Celebrate the Joys of Spring @ the Yas Marina Springtime Festival

Yas Marina recently announced the return of its annual Springtime Festival to be hosted on March 25^th and March 26^th, 2016, on the Yas Marina Promenade. The 2-day event, to be held between 1 PM and 6 PM, will put a spring in your weekend with a host of seasonally inspired activities.

Family Fun

The cooler months in the UAE are all about spending time outdoors and enjoying the great weather. For AED 30 per child, families can enjoy unlimited access to Yas Marina’s Springtime themed stalls and games and the chance to win chocolate prizes!

Jump on board an eco-conscious boat tour with Captain Tony’s who will be running Mangrove Cruises at a special rate of AED 100 per adult and AED 50 for children (6 -12 years).

ADCB will hold the second edition of their #bikethere ‘Ride & Seek’ photo scavenger hunt powered by Cyacle. The hunt will see teams set off from Yas Marina on their bikes with maps and a list of clues in order to forage around Yas Island.

Other attractions will include live acoustic music, a bouncy castle, crepe & ice cream kiosks and an outdoor movie at dusk on Friday.

Craft and Create

Visit Yas Marina’s Craft Zone to learn inventive ways to refresh your wardrobe or give your home and garden a new lease of life. With a varied daily programme of classes, visitors will have the chance to craft items to take home with them, learn new skills and pick up on great tips from local creative minds. While adults craft, children will be kept busy at the egg decorating station, whilst supervised by a professional team.

On Saturday, visitors can browse through Yas Marina’s Saturday Market which will feature new & pre loved items plus organic produce.

Yas Marina encourages you to do your spring cleaning early this year to make room for the unique purchases you find at its eclectic range of pop-up shops. Tiny Bean Events has carefully selected a collection of crafters, makers, designers and artists for new vendor stalls while great bargains on pre-loved apparel and gifts can be found in the second hand and car boot section of the market.

Stop by the mini Yas Farms which will have a range of UAE grown organic produce on hand in addition to a petting zoo. Yas Farms is quickly becoming the Capital’s trendiest place to do your organic grocery shopping, offering everything from seasonal fruits and vegetables to eggs, camel milk, and meats. Café D’Alsace’s selection of artisan bread, baked in house, and imported French cheeses will complete your weekly shopping list. 

Make a Day of It

On Saturday, children of all ages can start the day off with CrossFit Tots, Kids, Tweens, Teens and MetCon classes at Vogue Fitness while parents stroll the promenade or tuck into a buffet breakfast at Café D’Alsace.

Throughout the weekend Yas Marina’s extensive range of restaurants will be offering attractive deals and special springtime themed promotions to entice even the pickiest of eaters. To name a few, guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast or lunch at Café D’Alsace, hunt for Easter eggs at Aquarium, picnic on the grass at Iris or feast on a traditional roast at Stars ‘N’ Bars.
