The Maison Chopard is announcing the opening of a new boutique in Courchevel 1850, entirely fitted out in a typically Alpine style, combining contemporary décor and the use of superior traditional materials.

Located in the heart of the winter sports resort, at the entrance to the Espace Diamant arcade, Chopard’s Courchevel boutique has new premises. With a total surface area of 70m2, it is joining Maison Chopard’s 160 boutiques in presenting watch and jewellery creations crafted by gifted artisans in the company workshops. Imbued with Chopard's distinctive style, the boutique will be the ideal showcase for its casual chic Alpine Eagle and Happy Sport collections epitomising the art of leading a sporty and elegant lifestyle.

A family Maison

In keeping with the tradition of the Scheufele family presiding over Chopard's destiny, each boutique is designed to reflect the image of a true family residence where visitors should feel at home. As they travel the world, they are invited to visit each of these boutiques as a new place of discovery.

The Chopard boutique in Courchevel thus takes on the look and feel of a mountain chalet thanks to its antique oak parquet floors and comfortable sofas placed around a pleasant fireplace made of local slate. A style that is both personal and intimate, and a sense of comfort that sums up the Chopard spirit of offering customers an unforgettable experience. And all this because, far more than just a watch and jewellery manufacturer, Chopard is above all a family.

A new Art in Time space

The new boutique also hosts a sales lounge entirely dedicated to Art in Time. Developed on the initiative of Chopard's Co-President, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Art in Time is a network of watch galleries bringing together timepieces by independent watchmakers united for the artisanal and original nature of their approach. Following the very first concept store opened in Monaco in the spring of 2019, this latest gallery, located in the Chopard boutique, becomes the second in this series of establishments dedicated to independent fine watchmaking.
