Dubai Shopping Festival presents ‘Fashiontainment’ at Mall of the Emirates in collaboration with Etoile ‘La boutique’

OMI, star of global hits Cheerleader and Hula Hoop to perform at a unique fusion of fashion and entertainment

Jamaican American singer, OMI, well known for his hit songs ‘Cheerleader’ and ‘Hula Hoop’ will be the star attraction at Fashion Central, a style platform featuring fashion-related activations, as part of the wide range of Apparel and Fashion-themed events at the current edition of Dubai Shopping Festival, which runs until 1 February.

OMI will perform 15 January at 6:30pm at the ‘Fashiontainment’ event to launch the Fashion Central platform, which will be held from 15 – 17 January at South Galleria, Mall of the Emirates. ‘Fashiontainment’ will be an extraordinary fusion of fashion and entertainment presented by Dubai Shopping Festival in collaboration with luxury concept store Etoile ‘La boutique’. This unique concept will see OMI perform while models showcasing Etoile ‘La boutique’s’ new collection featuring  brands such as Ingie Paris, Antonio Berardi, Rachel Gilbert, Self Portrait, Roksanda  take the stage at the most entertaining runway show ever.

Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and the organisers of DSF – has developed a strong relationship with retailers to create special activations that look to increase footfall, as well as draw attention to the new fashion lines from retailers during DSF 2016, which runs until 1 February under the tagline, ‘Unwrap The Exceptional’.
