The theme park, Legoland Dubai, is organizing a scintillating light show that recreates Dubai’s iconic skyline. But there is a catch! The skyline will be recreated with illuminated lego blocks bringing the marquee buildings to life and light in their miniature sizes.
Think Dubai, and you think of Burj Khalifa, don’t you? Burj Khalifa is the first imagery that pops up with the mention of Dubai skyline. And that’s why they have set up the towering piece in the center of the light show exhibition. You are set to witness more than 15,000 Lego models created out of as many as an enormous 439,000 Lego bricks this Eid. A vision in itself, we can’t wait for it to begin.
The demonstration will have the buildings light up for 8 minutes every evening from August 8th to August 16th. Head up to Dubai Legoland before 7:45 to catch the show. Have plans this Eid Ul Adha and feel disappointed for not being able to witness this? Then don’t worry! The show will be running on Thursdays and Fridays post-Eid Ul Adha holidays too.
Head to Motiongate during Eid and visit favourite movie characters such as Shrek and Fiona, Master Po, Toothless and The Smurfs and enjoy an Eid buffet at The Candy Apple restaurant. The three course menu includes cold starters, five entrees and four desserts. Motiongate Dubai has more than 20 indoor rides inspired by Hollywood movies such as Hotel Transylvania, Madagascar and How to Train Your Dragon. Prices start at Dh280, and include buffet and access to all rides and attractions; or buffet separately from Dh59 for adults and from Dh45 for children with a 10 per cent discount for annual pass holders.
You can buy a daypass for AED 245 for Legoland Dubai. Or indulge in complete Lego experience by getting yourself an AED 345 pass for both the theme park and Legoland Waterpark. Head to the parks in Eid and get yourself a cool Eid Memorabilia in the form an Eid Ul Adha themed lego brick. This one can be the perfect family outing with your children.
