The National -- A special Emirates A380 flight will be in operation to carry UAE football fans heading to Kuwait for the Gulf Cup final which takes place on Friday, 5 January 2018.
Emirates said the flight is on instruction of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai. It added that details of the flight will be released "as soon as possible".
The UAE will face Oman in the final after beating Iraq on penalties in the semi-final last night.
The national team had been held to a goalless draw through 120 minutes at the Jaber Al Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City, but went on to win 4-2 in the shoot-out.
Alberto Zaccheroni's side will be seeking to win a third Gulf Cup crown. The UAE have won the tournament twice in 2007 and 2013 and have finished as runners-up on three occasions. The finals will be played on Friday.
