Passengers travelling through Dubai International Airport can begin their festive celebrations the moment they arrive with a remarkable gingerbread replica of the iconic Burj Khalifa by Address Dubai Marina.

At a height of 14 metres, the Burj Khalifa replica in gingerbread is decorated with gift boxes and lights, and occupies a central place in Concourse B at Terminal 3. The gingerbread replica is a tribute by Address Dubai Marina to the city, renowned for its architectural monuments.

Address Dubai Marina’s culinary team lead by Head Chef Avinash Mohan and six engineering professionals meticulously constructed the show stopping replica in 432 hours.

Made from over 30,000 gingerbread panels, using 180kg of flour, over 1,600 kg of icing sugar, 216 litres of honey and 23kg of ginger powder, the replica is a feat of tasty engineering, enough to put anyone in the festive spirit!

The festive decorations also include four gingerbread chalets around the replica of Burj Khalifa and retail stands to purchase last-minute festive treats for family members and friends, packaged in travel friendly gift boxes and bags. Embrace all the wonders of this magical time of the year with take-away festive delicacies and beverages.
