HH Mohammed bin Rashid receives Sun Chunlan, member of Chinese Communist Party's Political Bureau

WAM-His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received today Sun Chunlan, head of the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China, CPC, Central Committee. Mrs Chunlan conveyed the greeting of Li Keqiang, the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid welcomed Chunlan’s visit to the UAE and stressed the UAE's keenness on developing ties with China.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and Chunlan reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and China and ways to enhance them in joint fields between the two countries.

Chunlan emphasised China's desire to boost cooperation in various domains and praised the UAE's pioneering stature at the regional and global arenas.

Present at the meeting were H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group; H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future; Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Mohammed Al Shaibani, Director-General of HH The Ruler’s Court, Government of Dubai, and Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai. Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the UAE, Ni Jian was also present at the meeting.
