Thousands of eager shoppers packed Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2 and 3 on the first day of the show, taking advantage of the latest deals on smartphones, digital cameras, UHD TVs, tablets and a broad spectrum of the latest electronic gadgets. The fun festival atmosphere saw visitors enjoying live music and entertainment, interactive product trials and a host of incredible giveaways. A wide choice of casual dining options added to a great day out for the family.

GITEX Shopper 2015 has attracted some of the world’s top tech brands including Lenovo, Dell, Samsung and Toshiba.

Top regional distributors and power retailers including Jacky’s, Jumbo, Max Electronics, Plug Ins and Sharaf DG add to the stellar line-up of exhibitors.

More than AED 3 million in prizes will be won in promotions, competitions, giveaways and raffles being run for the eight days of the show. Visitors spending AED500 or more can participate in the daily raffle to win half a kilogram of gold every day, simply by uploading their invoices on the ‘Sweet’ app, downloadable for both IOS and android devices.
