Shortlisted in a category of 10 top shows, La Perle was victorious, an exciting achievement for the show’s first year.
Craig Hartenstine, Executive Producer of La Perle, who collected the award on the night, said: “We’re thrilled to have been awarded this accolade. We thank Al Habtoor Group for making it all possible, Franco Dragone for being the creative genius behind this now award-winning performance and of course the guests, who have watched and supported the show.
“As Dubai’s first resident show, we strive to give our audience the best show that they have ever seen twice a night, five nights a week. To be named Best Theatre Performance is incredible recognition of everyone’s hard work, not only of our 65 world-class artists you see on stage, but our gifted technical wizards and dedicated operational crew behind-the-scenes too. We can’t wait to continue our success for many years to come as La Perle becomes the cornerstone of live entertainment in Dubai and throughout the region.”
Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman, Al Habtoor Group said, “I would like to congratulate the team at La Perle by Dragone at Al Habtoor City on receiving the Best Theatre Performance Award from Time Out. The show has earned its place on the world stage as an artistic phenomenon in the region. This award emphasizes its positon as a world-class act and seals Al Habtoor City’s place as a luxury lifestyle destination.”
The awards were voted by Time Out Dubai’s anonymous review panel, who have spent the past year visiting hundreds of locations to scout what the city has to offer, both for residents and tourists.
