This has been our first foray into the malls in Dubai to actually do anything other than shopping. It has been a great chance to bring our small daughter out and let her enjoy the shows. She seems to really love the Bubble Emotion show. In fact when the show started all the children nearly jumped on stage to catch the bubbles!”

Leyla, a Turkish national living in Dubai, was at Mercato with her son Taha who was 4 years old. She said: “I really wanted to let my son Taha enjoy the shows that are happening at Mercato, especially as it is so close to my house. This is the first time we have come out so far and he really seems to enjoy the shows. I think it is really nice to be able to bring him to Mercato because it has an Italian vibe, and they have tried to show this through the entertainment, which is really good for the children as it introduces them to new cultures.”

Sam Kabbani, an 11 year old Lebanese Canadian, who lives in Dubai said he was really excited to see the shows. “I saw the dancing show yesterday but I definitely prefer the Bubble Emotion show as she is really cool and talented at making the bubbles move as she wants them to. I don’t know how she does it but it is really great, especially when she pops the bubbles and the smoke comes out.”

He continued, saying: “My parents have not taken me shopping yet but I am looking forward to find some sportswear, like some new football shoes or trainers.”
