Mohammed Rasool Khoory & Sons Group highlights year's achievements and announces future plans during 2016 Annual Ramadan Event

The Annual Ramadan Event of Mohammed Rasool Khoory & Sons took place during the Holy Month at Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Held in the presence of the Board Members, his Excellency Mr. Yousef Mohammed Rasool Khoory, the CEO of the group, the special event was attended by  the family members of Mohammed Rasool Khoory & Sons, Media representatives and employees and their families.

In his speech, the CEO extended his sincerest thanks and appreciation to all the employees for their efforts and to the Media representatives for the outstanding role in highlighting MRK brands in the best way possible.

Later, Mr. Bilal Moustafa Al Khaled, General Manager of Mohammed Rasool Khoory & Sons Group of Companies announced the start of operation of the prestigious Turkish restaurants chain (PETEK) with the first restaurant located in Rolex building opposite World Trade Centre. He added, "We look forward in the near future to open another two branches in Shaikh Rashid Al-Maktoum Street Next to the Emirates Media and the other branch in Marina Mall."

He also outlined new expansion of the Group's activities in food sector & restaurants with addition of the commercial section of the Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain city. A contract was signed to lease 345m area around the stadium to create "Ziryab" - an Arabic Restaurant. The work is on in full swing to open the restaurant before the end of this year.

Mr. Bilal also announced the corrective action taken by the Board of Directors to convert Maranello Italian restaurant located in Bawabat Al Sharq Mall to a new Arabic restaurant  -Ozzie House.

During the occasion Mr. Bilal Moustafa Al Khaled commented, "I would like to proudly announce the excellent sales of Laderach Chocolatier Swiss, which is retailed through the company's headquarters in Rolex building. With the overwhelming response from our customers, we are looking forward to open the first sales gallery in the near future at World Trade Center."

MRK Group is currently finalizing the interior decor of the headquarters of Quattro Middle East Company. The new company will focus on interior design and implementation of all commercial buildings, hotels, palaces, private villas and government buildings and offices as well. The Group's new venture will initially start its operations in Abu Dhabi and then plans to expand to other Emirates, Gulf countries and Middle East.

In the group's perfume business, the Board of Directors decided to enhance its brand  of perfumes by changing the trade name  to  Muhammad Rasool Khoory & Sons Perfumes from the earlier brand name "Sadeen". The group plans to start manufacturing a variety of fragrances with the new brand name MRK Perfumes. The group plans to rebrand  all existing points of sale with the new name.
