UAE delegation participates in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), participated in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2018 (SPIEF).

UAE’s senior official attended the plenary session of the SPIEF and traditionally took part in the Russian President’s meeting with the representatives of the international investment community. He also met with the Russian government's officials and a number of heads of the investment companies from all over the world.

Hamed Al Nahyan stated that the SPIEF has a major role in establishing a common ground for exchanging information, and presenting ideas and solutions for challenges facing the global economy and anticipating its future.

He added that the UAE's participation in the Forum stems from its belief that international cooperation contributes to improving the business environment and stimulates global investment.
