UAE participation in Astana Expo-2017 will boost UAE-Kazakhstan ties: Nahyan bin Mubarak

WAM -- The UAE's participation at Astana EXPO-2017 will give a significant boost to the distinguished UAE-Kazakhstan ties, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, said during a meeting with Ualiev Kuatzhan, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

Sheikh Nahyan and the Kazakh official discussed avenues for joint cultural and academic co-operation, while Kuatzhan affirmed his country's keenness to bolster co-operation with the UAE.

Kazakhstan is looking forward to the participation of the UAE at Astana Expo, in its capacity as the host of Expo 2020 in Dubai, he reiterated.
