Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the current challenges facing the country’s domestic fuel market are temporary and will not have a significant impact on the overall state of the Russian economy. He made the remarks during a meeting focused on economic issues.

According to the president, despite external pressure and attempts to destabilize the situation in the fuel and energy sector, Russia’s key industries continue to demonstrate resilience.

“The state of the Russian economy and its key sectors remains stable, despite external attempts to destabilize the situation in the fuel and energy complex and several other sectors,” Vladimir Putin said.

The president emphasized that the issues affecting the fuel market are temporary and will not alter the broader economic outlook of the country.

He noted that the fundamental indicators of the Russian economy remain stable, while external efforts to put pressure on the fuel and energy sector and related industries will not undermine the country’s long-term economic stability.

The statement was made amid ongoing measures aimed at stabilizing the domestic fuel market and ensuring uninterrupted supplies of petroleum products to consumers.
