Global fashion platform Lyst has released its latest installment of The Lyst Index, this time naming Off-White™ fashion’s hottest brand for Q3 of 2019. Lyst’s quarterly report, which also ranks Balenciaga, Gucci, Versace and Prada among the top five of its top 20 brands, analyzes searches and shopping habits of more than nine million monthly users while taking into account brand growth and engagement over time.
As Off-White™ enjoys first place for the second time in the past year, Gucci has faltered, taking third place after two years of consistently ranking first or second. Other key insights from Lyst’s Q3 data reveal that Bottega Veneta has entered the top 20 for the first time, climbing 21 places to #16, perhaps due to last year’s appointment of creative director Daniel Lee. Though not yet in the top 20, Jacquemus has shot up 37 positions in ranking – the brand’s Le Chiquito mini bag is among Lyst’s hottest women’s products, having generated over 12,500 monthly searches over the past quarter. Alexander McQueen and Loewe, the latter clocking in at #20 moved up five and seven spots, respectively.
In addition to brands, the report also compiles last quarter’s, hottest women’s products. A celebrity favorite, Bottega Veneta’s padded sandal takes top spot followed by Jacquemus’ Le Chiquito mini bag, adidas Originals’ Continental 80, Mansur Gavriel‘s cloud print sweater and Prada’s black nylon pouch in the top five. Taking spots six to ten are Reformation’s Juliette dress, Fendi‘s Zucca print bikini, Balenciaga’s safety pin earring, Hudson Jeans‘ belted jumpsuit and Paco Rabanne‘s 1969 shoulder bag.
