Penelope Cruz named as Chanel’s new brand ambassador
Penelope Cruz has been announced as a Chanel ambassador – and will be the face of the brand’s cruise 2018/19 campaign, which is shot by Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
The Spanish actress attended her first Chanel fashion show in 1999 and has regularly sported the brand’s creations ever since – calling upon famed French maison for appearances at the Oscars, the Goyas, the Cannes Film Festival and countless openings nights. In 2009, Penélope Cruz was dressed by Chanel for Pedro Almodóvar’s film Broken Embraces.
She joins a diverse group of Lagerfeld muses that includes Margot Robbie, Willow Smith, Kristen Stewart and Lily-Rose Depp.
