ZEA launches Mestizos Sunday brunch blending Mediterranean and Latin flavours

Launching on 30 August, the new weekly brunch combines a sharing-style menu, free-flowing drinks, live entertainment and an after-party in DIFC.
For those who like their Sundays with good food, flowing drinks and a soundtrack that gets livelier as the afternoon unfolds, ZEA Dubai is introducing MESTIZOS, a new weekly brunch launching on Sunday, 30 August.
Taking place every Sunday from 3pm to 7pm, MESTIZOS brings together ZEA’s Mediterranean roots with Latin American flavours and subtle Middle Eastern influences. The result is a relaxed, social brunch designed to transition from a leisurely meal around the table into an energetic afternoon of music and entertainment.
The name MESTIZOS, associated with the blending of cultures, reflects the concept behind the experience. Rather than following a single culinary tradition, the brunch draws inspiration from the diverse cultures that shape Dubai’s dining scene, combining Mediterranean-style hospitality with the colour and character of Latin cuisine.
A menu made for sharing
Created by Chef Sundeep Taucoory, the menu is designed for sharing. The brunch begins with ZEA Guacamole, Tuna & Avocado Tartare, Crispy Kale Quinoa Pear Salad and Wagyu Beef Carpaccio.
Main courses include Arroz con Camarones, Peruvian-style Baby Chicken and Truffle & Parmesan Fries. Dessert comes in the form of a signature platter featuring chocolate ganache, vanilla ice cream, lemon and yuzu sorbet, and seasonal fruits.
Five drinks packages are available, allowing guests to choose how they want to spend their Sunday. Prices start at AED 265 for the Bronze soft beverage package, while Silver is AED 320 and includes house beverages. Gold, priced at AED 385, adds grape.
For a more indulgent experience, the AED 450 Platinum package includes premium and signature cocktails, while the AED 650 Bubbles package offers an all-inclusive experience with Champagne.
From brunch to after-party
MESTIZOS is designed to build momentum throughout the afternoon. Resident DJs will be joined by live percussion, Latin dancers and interactive entertainment, with the soundtrack moving across Latin House, Afro House, Oriental House, Arabic remixes and contemporary Latin tracks.
The experience does not end when brunch does. From 7pm until midnight, ZEA will continue with Happy Hour and the MESTIZOS after-party, giving guests the option to extend the evening.
Whether it is a late Sunday lunch with friends, a birthday celebration or simply a reason to keep the weekend going, MESTIZOS offers a new way to spend Sunday in DIFC starting around the table and ending on a livelier note.
