After signing its first Haute Horlogerie Caliber: the Caliber 1. Jumping Hour for men in 2016, Chanel proposed the Caliber 2. Camélia Skeleton in 2017: a delicate movement, winner of the Lady Watch at the Grand Prix de l'Horlogerie de Genève in 2017.

In 2018, Chanel continues the story and introduces its third in-house movement. This new Caliber 3 highlights the lines and curves of the iconic Boy·Friend.

The BOY·FRIEND Skeleton Watch

For the first time, the Boy∙Friend Watch, created in 2015, houses a Fine Watchmaking skeleton movement, the Caliber 3.

After three years of development, this third in-house movement was designed to be beautiful at any angle.

Floating in its octagonal Beige Gold case, it features a series of interlinked, vertically aligned circles. The mirror-polished Beige Gold chamfering emphasizes the movement’s depth. The bridges are at the back, allowing the watch’s beating heart to stand out.

The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève is intended to salute the excellence of worldwide horological production, annually rewarding the finest creations and most important operators in the watchmaking sector.

Watches preselected for the GPHG, as well as the winners, are included in a travelling exhibition showing in Seoul, Rome, Geneva and Dubai. This enables an international audience to discover and admire the finest timepieces of the year, exceptionally united, throughout October and November.

Chanel is honored by this prize, which it sees as saluting the exceptional "savoir-faire" that has always been at the heart of its creative process.
