A new study has revealed alarming changes in blood vessel function among healthy people who smoked an e-cigarette for the first time.
The US research, carried out on 31 adults who had never vaped or smoked before, reported significant changes in the blood flow within the femoral artery in the leg. Netflix has apologised to a UAE resident after he was bombarded with phone calls when one of their top shows accidentally screened his mobile number.
Kunhabdulla CM, from India, revealed he had been forced to switch off his phone after receiving more than 200 calls from fans from around the world.

Emirates Airline has once again been named the top brand for consumers in the UAE, according to a new study.
The Dubai airline came first for the third year in a row in YouGov's BrandIndex annual brand health rankings.

The UAE will mark Islamic New Year next weekend and residents are anticipating a day off.
The country’s human resources authority said public and private sector workers will enjoy a public holiday on Muharram 1, Hijri 1441.
That date in the Islamic calendar falls on Saturday or Sunday, leading many to anticipate a holiday on Sunday, September 1.

WAM – Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, was the most punctual Middle Eastern carrier in the first seven months of 2019.
New figures produced by the aviation data company OAG show that Etihad was the only Middle Eastern carrier whose punctuality averaged more than 80 per cent for flights across this period.
