UAE public holidays for 2019 and 2020 announced by Cabinet

Private sector workers will have the same number of holidays as government employees, the Government has announced.

The UAE Cabinet issued a decree on Tuesday unifying the number of holiday days between the public and private sector.

Previously, the public sector would enjoy more days off than private companies.

Abu Dhabi Presidential Palace to open its doors to the public

The public will be able to take a glimpse inside the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi for the first time next week.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, announced on Monday that a building in the palace compound, named Qasr Al Watan – or Palace of the Nation – will open for visitors to take part in tours.

10-wheel hybrid truck out of Jeep Wrangler and giant military vehicle builds in UAE (Video)

Known as the "Dhabiyan", the giant truck was built using sections of a Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Dart and the rig of an Oshkosh M1075 military truck.

The ridiculous creation is the brainchild of sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, well known car collector.
