On Tuesday, Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, announced he was glad to be welcoming his friend to the emirate.

The National -- Heavy fog is expected to continue over the coming days as low visibility caused a 44-vehicle pile-up in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday morning.

The National Centre of Meteorology said stable weather with "cold nights, clear skies, moist air and light winds will keep the chance of fog formation high over most internal areas and the northern coastal areas, with visibility dropping to less than 100 metres in some areas.”

'Salik' traffic tolls coming to Abu Dhabi

The National -- Road tolls are being introduced in Abu Dhabi, according to a law issued by President Sheikh Khalifa on Sunday.

Law No 17 of 2017 stipulates that the Department of Transport will be responsible for determining the areas the tariff will be implemented, the amount to be paid and the operation times.

Displaying a variety of different foods and tastes, 13 countries came together to take part in the Asia-Pacific food and crafts bazaar in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, as each country showcased its unique and cultural delicacies.
